About Kate
It is said that Kate’s personality is what draws clients in but her expertise and knowledge is what keeps them around. Working with Kate as an accounting professional is an experience unlike any other. Most accountants have a stigma of being dry, bland, and dare I say boring. We can promise you that you will never use those words while working with Loft. It is impossible to have a conversation with Kate without laughing and she believes that just because the topic of the conversation is finances and numbers, that doesn’t mean that it needs to be without energy and spirit.
Kate has been a number-lover her entire life and graduated with a degree in Accounting. She is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and tells people that they probably won’t ever like Quickbooks as much as she does but her goal is to help them hate it a little less. She originally started this business to keep her busy during nap times but it has grown into something larger than we ever imagined. Kate discovered that she could offer something unique that most bookkeeping and accounting firms can’t and that the traditional accounting model is no longer working or necessary for business’s needs.
When Kate isn’t working, her enjoyment comes from racquetball, pickleball, ping pong, tennis and running. She will take any opportunity-big or small- to celebrate. She is blessed with the most remarkable husband and she has two darling kids at home. Kate adores getting together with friends and you will always see her smiling and laughing.
